Chris formed the practice in 1985. Having qualified through ONC, HNC and Institute of Building exams, Chris worked extensively for building contractors and the local health authority in a variety of building oriented roles including contracts manager, estimator, buyer and senior building officer. It is this wide experience that led to the formation of the practice. Self taught in design terms the practice is built on Chris' early success. Chris is not really a workaholic; he is also an international rally co-driver, currently campaigning a Mk1 Ford Escort RS1600 in a National Historic Rally Championship. He is married to Janice and has one son: Simon. Chris also enjoys visiting France, DIY and travelling. |

Janice originally helped build the practice from its early beginnings and now spends most of her time keeping things in order in the office. This includes the processing and monitoring of applications and endeavouring to keep up-to-date with the never ending changes in planning legislation. Qualified in Interior Design, Janice also has a creative input to many of the projects, as well as acting as quality controller and accountant for the practice. Janice lists property, the 'Ladies Circle', and singing amongst her interests, and being married to Chris as one of her chores! |

A family man with three children, Les is currently taking up golf, somewhat unsuccessfully, in an attempt to escape the mayhem at home. Following on from this, whilst working at NPS Property Consultants, Tamsin gained a good grounding in the industry and is now keen to expand her experience & knowledge with the broad variety of work that Parsons & Whittley is involved in. Tamsin is currently in her final year of studying day-release for a Bsc (Hons) in Architectural Technology at the Anglia Ruskin University.
