FEASIBILITY STUDIES
You are here: Services > Architectural Design > Feasibility Studies
Parsons & Whittley are able to investigate your project in general terms, and consider and report on the feasibility of the proposal. In other words, we will be able to tell you if what you have in mind is realistic and achievable.
When we are asked to undertake a feasibility study, we will visit the site, take some measurements, perform some tests, and evaluate the site or building, in relation to its current condition and what is being proposed. For example, we can determine whether or not an existing building can be converted, extended, or re-modelled in line with your requirements, or find out if a plot of land is suitable for re-development.
As part of our investigation, our work could also include:
- an initial appraisal of the site in terms of planning policy
- identification of the physical constraints of the site
- an assessment of the availability of services
- an exploration of the capacity of the site
- informal consultations with the various statutory consultees and statutory authorities.
Once we have gathered all the information we require, we will then prepare a feasibility report which outlines our findings. Where appropriate, we may also make some initial suggestions and recommendations for your consideration, should you wish to proceed with the project.
Please note that as with all of our work, the extent and depth of the services we provide can be tailored to suit your particular requirements.
